A stunning walk. Quite under-rated in my mind. We headed off mid-morning. We carried plenty of water, or so we thought. It’s hot, exposed.
We had perfect conditions. A bit too perfect. No breeze, no clouds…just a blue sky sunny day. Plenty of flies, plenty of stunning views. The walk stays high on the ridge line. Which gives you access to the best views in town! It also gives you the feeling of wanting desperately to climb down and swim on a day like we had, a task made very difficult along the majority of the trail due to steep sides down both sides of the trail.
My guess is, that, knowing the weather in Albany, the days don’t always look like the one we had. I think a bit of cloud, even some rain would be welcomed!
